Week 8 - Turn-based games

Turn Based games have evolved so much since early turn based games like certain cardboard games, as for me I love and enjoy turn based games I like how its noy just about attacking because since you only get 1 move per turn strategy is involved if its better to defend or attack or heal or use a special if you were in a boss battle. The most iconic turn based game I played and love to absolute bits is Finial Fantasy 7 even though currently it’s an old Ps1 game it has a free to roam aspect and then when encountering enemies the battle style is turn based, I enjoyed controlling 3 players and making sure all survived the fight and used multiple strategies based off each main characters I used what role I made them play and how to manage low states in a prolonged fight, this game started my path into me wanting to become a game designer because I was so immersed in the story I still love it till this day AND IT’S GETTING A REMAKE and it looks fabulous I am personally myself a little disappointed they changed it to a real time Combat game but I am still excited to see all my favourite characters seen in Hd graphics and relieve the story I fell in love with.
