Game Characters

Gaming characters are very important to have in any video game because they are usually what the main story is based around either events occurring around him develop the characters story and personality as the story goes on. Without out these characters in our games the player will have nothing to control in the game that will provide an emotional connection or something/someone to relate to as you play a game. Main characters or even just side or scenery characters gives the player a sense of realism within the game as there is a whole world within the game to explore that the player is conveyed through other characters being present and helping you complete the game.

The main character is one of the most important characters within in any game created with or without a story, This character is designed to be the avatar of the player the link between you and the game, This character must look or have the personality to be able to capture the imagination of the player and make sure they can relate to the characters adventure or story. A good character captures the attention of the player and makes them emotionally invested in the decisions that make up the characters story and impact the games story and events.

The main character isn’t the only thing that can make a player attached or interested into a game sometimes a side character or most of the time the main villains also gain the attention of the player and make them feel invested into stopping the bad guy or trying to find out more about him, I will admit myself playing so rpgs I was more interested in the enemies back story than my main characters or most of the time I hoped by defeating the main bad guy that I could obtain his/hers armour or skills because they impressed me the most in their design and powers, Such as the Dark Knight in Bravely Default
